VENICE VAPORETTO

Venice Vaporetto

Vaporetto is often used as a generic synonym for "water busses". They are the cheapest means of transport and runs very frequently along city canals.

The ACTV (the Venice public transportation system) is placed into the Piazzale Roma, is opened daily from 7.30 to 20.00 o'clock, and drives the boats in the city and the lagoon. ACTV has a printed timetable booklet that you can get at any ticket booth. You can also check timetable in the official ACTV website.
